Makai Y.

My name is Makai, and I am a day student from Carbondale, CO. I’ve been involved with the climbing team since freshman year, and I am the captain this year. My favorite class is Advanced Spanish which I am taking for the second year in a row. I love learning the language and appreciate that Dan switches up the curriculum, so students who return for another year of the class have the opportunity to continue learning. Additionally, after taking AP US History last year, I now teach the APUSH Review Sessions to help out students currently in the class. My favorite experience at CRMS was being a Wilderness Assistant Student Leader for the incoming students this year. I have also enjoyed giving tours to prospective students as a part of the A-Team, running with the cross-country team in the fall, and playing music in and outside of class.
