Maja was born on the Western Slope, though moved to California from a young age, attending K-12th grade in the Bay Area – often returning to Colorado for summer and winter break to spend time with family, going rock-hunting, hiking, and rafting. She was an independent nail technician for 8 years prior to a career change focused on business administration. She believes strongly in living a life of kindness and service to others. In her free time, you can find her kayaking the Colorado River, hunting for rocks in the deserts of Utah, or meditating just about anywhere outdoors.
