Sierra is a graduate of Colorado Rocky Mountain School (’97) and recognizes what a powerful impact her years at the school have had on her life. She returns to campus with as much passion and energy for the school as when she graduated (she was a recipient of the Community Service Award) in addition to a fulfilling career in education. Sierra has a passion for Equity and Inclusion as well as Experiential and Outdoor education. Prior to becoming the Director of Active Curriculum she was a middle school and high school teacher, including Language Arts, Math, Science, and Art, and a coach for kayaking, telemark skiing, cross-training fitness, and nordic skiing. In her free time, she can be found playing outdoors with her teenage children, gardening, knitting, cooking, and slowly learning to play the guitar.
