Diversity & Inclusion
To respond to the importance of attacking racism and bring a greater sense of inclusion into our community, we are at the start of a learning journey. The board of trustees has embraced this important work and will be engaged in training sessions this fall, faculty and staff have been involved in diversity education this summer, and a task force of trustees, alumni, faculty, staff, and current students has been established to assist in determining the future direction of our learning community. It is our intention to come out of this work with productive, positive, and lasting change for our school community. As a school that values the importance of experiential education, it is also our goal to provide access for all youth to the transformative power of the outdoors and our public lands.
